Sharing “myBrayns”

Last year was very intensive for me, writing an entire new code base for Microsoft Business Central plus several companion tool for various integrations.

This code base was specifically designed for customers that run distribution or retail business. The sofware has been tested with many (and complex 😅) pharmaceutical customers.

“Experience” is the name of this code base and it’s served as modular PTE (Per Tenant Extension) with a fully configurable APP. “Experience” is already registered for AppSource but unavailable for now due to some criticism. See my previous post about it: https://simonegiordano.it/appdestination/

Now I would that “Experience” grow without the limitations of AppSource and I’m sure that to be a good AppSource APP hundreds (better thousands) of installations are needed.

I would that Customers, Partners and Developers can easily integrate “Experience” in their projects, without disruptions and with debugging allowed.

I would that the +150 APPs of “Experience” can be “cherry-picked” to create your own and unique configuration.

And finally, if you want, “Experience” can be installed as “white label” extension, giving it your custom name and publisher. 😎

Sign up to “myBrayns”

Go to https://my.brayns.it and create your account. E-Mail verification is requested.

Complete account with your company information. Account is ready to use but additional verifications will be made to unlock various features.

Browse all available modules. Click on description and open the on-line documentation (Brayns Knowledge Base).

😇 This is a beta version of “myBrayns” so only few modules are available to download. Sorry for the inconvenience and keep in touch for the new versions!

Create your first configuration! Select “BC” as “Software code”, give a name to the configuration, type the name and the publisher for your custom APP.

Add the modules that you want!

When you are ready, click “Build” and wait for the confirmation e-mail that will notice you that the APP is ready to download!

Next steps

In the next weeks we would to complete missing documentation and set-up the telemetry.

During the “beta” phase only few modules are available as free of charge. Next we’ll add also commercial features, billed as recurring subscription per user, per tenant or per device/store.

Conclusion

I started sharing “myBrayns” 😅 to give the opportunity to use specific enterprise class features in third party projects. Maybe some customer, partner or developer can save a lot of time, and us can improve our code base with a powerful DevOps process.
